We collect the following data at the point of registration, but they are not retained in a form linked to your personal data; we use them to compute aggregate statistics about the population of CRAWDAD users.
If you later deactivate your account, we delete your personal information above and retain only an unidentifiable record indicating the date of registration and the date of deactivation. We use this information so we can track the number of active CRAWDAD users over time. Why do we need your data?We need to collect your personal data for these purposes:
Our legal basis for processing the personal dataBy registering for a CRAWDAD account you consent to our collecting and storing data as described above. If you do not grant consent then we will not collect any data, but you will not receive a CRAWDAD account. Who will we share your data with?We will not share your data with any other parties. We will share aggregate statistics (e.g., number of CRAWDAD users over time, across countries, across institution types) with our sponsors and on our public website.
